Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented accountant to support the financial management of homeowners associations, condominium associations, and commercial associations. 
The ideal candidate has accounting or bookkeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple association accounts and deadlines. Experience with CINC Accounting Software is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accounting records for a portfolio of homeowners associations, condominium associations, and commercial associations
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and board reporting packages
  • Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger activity
  • Review owner ledgers and assist with account research or billing questions
  • Prepare and post journal entries as needed
  • Support budget preparation and variance analysis
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Coordinate with community association managers, board members, vendors, and internal teams to resolve accounting questions
  • Support audit, tax, reserve study, and year-end reporting requests
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with company procedures and association requirements
Qualifications
  • Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or financial reporting experience
  • Experience with HOAs, condominium associations, commercial associations, or community association management preferred
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Ability to manage multiple entities, deadlines, and priorities
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with CINC Accounting Software is a plus
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
