  • Work closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each client.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and state regulations while providing mental health services, safeguarding client confidentiality, and practicing informed consent.
  • Engage in regular supervision and participate actively in continuous training and professional development opportunities to enhance counseling skills and stay updated in the field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will experience a varied patient demographic, engaging with individuals from different age groups including children, adolescents, and adults. You will be especially focused on supporting those from marginalized groups, including but not limited to, LGBTQIA+ individuals and trauma survivors. This position presents an opportunity to make a significant impact by employing evidence-based practices to address diverse mental health challenges within these communities.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid LPCC license in the State of California is required, along with BBS registration.
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution is mandatory.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is highly preferred, indicating an established foundation in counseling practice.
  • Previous experience working with targeted populations, such as children, adolescents, trauma survivors, and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), or trauma-informed care approaches will be beneficial.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills are essential for maintaining effective clinical records and for compliance with treatment protocols.
Compensation and Benefits

We value our employees and recognize their contributions through competitive annual compensation, ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to attractive salary offerings, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • 10 days of paid vacation plus an additional 10 holidays and 5 sick days per year.
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits to ensure your health needs are met.
  • A 401K retirement plan with company matching to support your long-term financial goals.
  • Employer-paid life insurance and paid malpractice insurance for peace of mind.
  • A collaborative and supportive team environment that prioritizes staff wellbeing and professional growth.
Career Growth Opportunities

PROMIS Neurodevelopmental is invested in the professional development of its staff members. We offer pathways to advance your career through ongoing training, mentorship programs, and opportunities to take on leadership roles within the organization. As you gain experience and expertise, you may have the chance to lead specialized programs or initiatives based on your interests and competencies.
