Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Field / Project Buyer to support our client in the Tucker, GA Office. Successful candidate will be open to traveling as there is an expectation for site-based work.

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

Job responsibilities:

Accountable for the successful delivery of all supply chain activities that they are responsible for Responsible for the end to end sourcing process (Strategy through Close Out) for the majorprocurement/subcontract packages assigned to them Provides guidance, direction and support to the reporting personnel in delivery of their specificresponsibilities Provides guidance, direction and support to all relevant stakeholders on both Woods and thesuppliers specific contractual obligations and responsibilities Ensures all supply chain activities are carried out in accordance with the project executionplan/schedule and/or contracting strategy, within approved budgets and in line with projectprocesses and procedures Assisting with development of processes and procedures, and communication to relevantpersonnel Update the project / procurement status report (PSR) in line with project / client required on sitedates and current / estimate lead times, notifying any delays to the supply chain lead Attend regular PSR meetings with client, engineering and/or project management personnel toensure dates for pre-order deliverables within their portfolio are being maintained Establishes priorities, assigns workloads and reviews tasks as assigned to direct reports Utilisation of Wood Approved Supplier Register (ASR) supplemented when required byproject/client approved supplier registers for supplier evaluation, audit, and selection

Skills / Qualifications

Knowledge, skills and experience:

Minimum of three years' experience demonstrating results Detailed knowledge of Suppliers, commercial Evaluations, Negotiations and Terms and Conditionsof Purchase/Contract Subcontract Agreements and Framework Agreements Industry forms of Subcontract ERP systems Client contract requirements

Supply Chain Principles and techniques

Experience of: Commercial Evaluations, negotiations and terms and condition qualification Supplier Relationship Management

Personal attributes: Excellent communication skills, written, oral and presentation Maintains a strong network both within and outside of supply chain department Positively maintain relationships with suppliers, clients and other disciplines Planning and organisational skills Enthusiastic proactive attitude Adaptability and Problem Solving skills

Ability to: Work as part of project execution team Identify efficiency, process and tool improvement opportunities and successful drive throughchange
