Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:ย 

  • Support the RFQ process with Commodity Buyers' supplier panels.ย 
  • Receive, analyze and present Sourcing recommendations.ย  ย  ย 
  • Support the development and maintenance of key panel supplier relationships.ย  Enforce group and local conditions as required.
  • Support research on proposals for cost optimization actions.ย 
  • Track group purchasing savings and VA/VE actions and report in the Ivalua system.ย 
  • Interact with accountancy (price gap on invoices, price adjustments, etc.)
  • Support the management of the end-of-life for components.
  • Interact with corporate purchasing group to complete global requirements in North America.ย 
  • Ensure the conformity / validity of purchasing data recorded in ERP and reported in Ivalua.ย 

REQUIREMENTS:ย 

  • 2 years' experience as Project Buyer
  • 3 years' experience within Automotive Market
  • +3 years stability each Company (in average)

SOFT SKILL/ QUALIFICATION

BA in Business with emphasis in Supply Chain Management, or Purchasing or equivalent; and purchasing, manufacturing, engineering related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ย Experience with automotive business.ย
