Play a critical role in planning, executing, and overseeing complex automation projects. ย Ensure projects operate within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost to deliver specified requirements and meet customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, interfacing with customers, and providing strategic guidance to achieve project and organizational objectives. ย 

What You'll Be Doing
ย ย ย ย Oversee and manage a portfolio of complex projects, guiding them from inception to completion, which includes project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting in line with established practices.ย 
ย ย ย ย Collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams, delegating tasks and setting clear project objectives to ensure successful project delivery.ย 
ย ย ย ย Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, continuously tracking progress and adjusting as needed to achieve project goals.ย 
ย ย ย ย Maintain open lines of communication with customers, acting as a primary point of contact to gauge satisfaction with project progress and performance.ย 
ย ย ย ย Document and share customer requirements in compliance with the approved contract.ย 
ย ย ย ย Identify, evaluate, and address project risks, taking proactive steps to resolve issues that may impact project delivery.ย 
ย ย ย ย Keep the project team and management informed about significant changes in project status.

Key Requirements

ย ย ย ย Post-secondary education in a community college, university-level engineering program or related relevant education
ย ย ย ย Minimum of three (3) years experience in an engineering role within the field of industrial automation
ย ย ย ย 1-3 years of experience in project management, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
ย ย ย ย Participation in PMI preferred.
ย ย ย ย Driver's license may be required, as well as the ability to travel to customer sites both locally and internationally.

The expected compensation range for this position is $86,640 - $119,130 annually. This range includes base pay and target variable pay. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We also consider internal equity to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. This range reflects the expected full compensation range for the role; most offers will fall within the range and not at the maximum in order to allow for future growth.
