Description
GENERAL SUMMARY: Provide overall program support and manpower analysis for multiple project locations within Delphinus Engineering. Will assist with managing the overall multiple projects across all operating units of Delphinus Engineering.
LOCATION: Norfolk, VA.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure accurate project setup in compliance with contractual requirements while meeting the reporting needs of Project and Program Managers.
  • Maintain project timeframes, objectives, and communications wiith Project and Program Managers.
  • Modify and maintain schedules in Microsoft Project,Identify critical paths, understand and modify task dependencies
  • Analyze gantt charts and other timelines.
  • Create and manage documentation and reports for projects.
  • Identify the goals and requirements of each project utilizing Work Breakdown Structure.
  • Verify data and information and analyze it to suit the direction of a project.
  • Track, forecast and report on project progress including metrics and challenges.
  • Support Contract Deliverable Reports as necessary.
  • Supports various contracts and delivery orders in generating and maintaining databases and reports.
  • Prepares, updates, submits to customer, and logs resumes for contracts approval.
  • Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities.
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
  • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations.
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files.
  • May be responsible for integrity of certain database information.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project is required.
  • Candidates must have experience supporting shipboard U.S. Navy government contracting operations.
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience or equivalent experience.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Project, Excel, Word, Power Point.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of government contracting and accounting.
  • Ability to work in Groups or Independently as required.

SALARY RANGE: $28 - $36 per hour
In determining compensation, various factors will be considered, including but not limited to, educational background; relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, market factors; and geographic location.
