Job description

The Associate Program Manager is responsible for managing customer programs focused primarily on a single lifecycle engagement while ensuring alignment between sales, project delivery, and service teams within the assigned scope of responsibility. 

This role serves as an entry level program management position within the FORTÉ Program Management organization and is designed to develop future Program Managers through direct ownership of smaller programs and tactical engagements. The Associate Program Manager maintains program visibility, facilitates communication between stakeholders, and ensures program activities are executed in alignment with customer expectations and FORTÉ standards.

Typically, will focus on single lifecycle (Sales, Projects, or Service), programs with defined scope and limited organizational complexity. May also focus on smaller scale or repeatable multi-site initiatives and programs that may include coordination with regional FORTÉ business units or global delivery partners for smaller scale international deployments

What you'll bring to assure your success: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in project management, program management, audiovisual integration, unified communications, digital workplace technologies, or related technical services
  • Experience in project management, project coordination, engineering coordination, service delivery coordination, or technical account support is beneficial
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks, Timelines, and cross functional stakeholder communication
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer relationship skills
  • Ability to interpret engineering documentation, project schedules, and operational reports
  • Familiarity with program or project management frameworks (PMI or equivalent) preferred
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in structured environments and escalate issues appropriately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and program or project tracking tools
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) required within 12 months of hire
  • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist – AVIXA) required within 12 months of hire
