Job Summary:
Great teams are built through great training. As a Training Specialist at Centrus Energy, you'll help equip our workforce with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to safely support one of the nation's most important clean energy missions. From onboarding new employees and managing our Learning Management System (LMS) to developing engaging training programs and ensuring regulatory compliance, you'll play a key role in creating a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
What You Will Do:
Partner with leaders across the organization to identify training needs, design and deliver engaging learning experiences, and ensure employees have the knowledge and qualifications to succeed. You'll manage and optimize our Learning Management System (LMS), coordinate new hire onboarding, maintain training records, develop training materials, conduct job task analyses, measure program effectiveness, and support state and federal inspections while helping foster a culture of continuous improvement and lifelong learning.
We'd Love To Hear From People With:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience
  • 5+ years of experience evaluating training requirements, developing training programs, delivering instructor-led training, and tracking employee training records
  • Experience conducting classroom training, presentations, and demonstrations for diverse audiences
  • Experience planning, developing, and supporting employee training programs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic database systems
  • Experience administering or supporting a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a "Q" level security clearance

A Successful Candidate Brings:
  • Experience supporting training programs in a regulated manufacturing, industrial, energy, nuclear, or government environment
  • Experience preparing for or supporting regulatory, state, or federal inspections
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and a variety of training delivery methods, including classroom, virtual, and hands-on instruction
  • Experience analyzing training effectiveness and using data to recommend continuous improvements
  • A collaborative mindset, customer-focused approach, and passion for developing others through engaging learning experiences
  • Holds an active "Q" or Top-Secret Clearance

Pay:
Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $64,248 - $107,080. This position is Bonus eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. While the posted range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position, compensation above the range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.

In addition, once employed, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
