Nemean Solutions, headquartered in Sierra Vista, AZ, is a certified SBA 8(a) Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) and veteran-operated company providing advanced Military Intelligence, Enterprise and Cloud IT services, Cybersecurity, Special Operations Forces (SOF) Exercise and Training, and niche Program Support and Professional Services to Federal and State Agencies supporting the US Government Defense, Intelligence and Aerospace sectors.


Job Overview:

The Passport Program Support Specialist shall provide qualified administrative support personnel to perform the required work of the passport and visa application receipt and distribution processes without interruption or compromise in service productivity, timeliness, or quality.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs various clerical and repetitive manual functions.
  • Verifying that all applications are correct and that supporting documents have been provided.
  • Prioritizing applications by creating appropriate batches for Courier Services and Mail Out.
  • Pulling and preparing applications for scanning and processing.
  • Verifying batch count and reviewing passport and visa applications.
  • Receiving, sorting, delivering, processing, and logging all PSD passport/visa mail.
  • Packing quality checked passports for shipment.
  • Operating computer equipment including barcode scanners, document scanners, and the FEDEX Terminal.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements/Education:

  • One (1) year of general work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of (Visa/Passport Application System) VPAS, to include creation of records for each received application, retrieval of individual application information, data entry and generation of barcode and mailing labels.
  • Must be able to perform quality checks for meeting DOS and embassy standards for every application received and/or processed.
  • Ability to follow pre-set patterns for document and packet sequencing. Knowledge of basic filing skills to insert and retrieve application packages from file cabinets.
  • Basic personal computer skills.
  • Basic understanding of postal regulations.
  • Good hand to eye coordination.
  • Capable of doing repetitive tasks such as: lifting, standing, sitting, reaching, twisting, sealing envelopes, filing, and reading.
  • Data entry ability.
  • Ability to work in one place and transverse the office on a continuing basis.
  • Ability to transport 30 lbs.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position due to government contract requirements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an office environment.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in an environment involving PC hardware and software, including LANs and WANs.

Security Requirement:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance.


Travel Requirements:

The contractor may be required to travel to off-site training locations and to ship training aids.
