About the Role
The Sr Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst is responsible for leading the establishment and maintenance of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). This role involves performing in-depth analysis and preparing comprehensive reports to ensure program leadership is provided with accurate and detailed analysis to facilitate decision making and that programs meet or exceed schedule commitments. The analyst will lead the preparation of schedules for all contract work and perform analysis such as critical path and variance analysis. The Sr Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst will lead and conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA). Additionally, the analyst will stay aware of and incorporate contractual changes into the IMS following developed baseline change guidelines to maintain realistic contract schedule baselines. This position requires recent experience in leading teams both formally and informally.
In this role, you will lead the establishment and maintenance of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring it aligns with contractual requirements and program objectives. You will perform in-depth Critical Path and variance analysis and prepare comprehensive reports to provide program leadership with accurate and detailed insights, facilitating decision-making and ensuring that programs meet or exceed schedule commitments. Additionally, you will perform Rolling Wave Planning and lead Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) to identify and mitigate potential schedule risks. Leading the preparation of schedules for all contract work, you will conduct detailed analysis, such as critical path and variance analysis, to ensure accurate schedule tracking. Staying aware of and incorporating contractual changes into the IMS, you will maintain realistic contract schedule baselines to support program success. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will gather necessary information for schedule planning and utilize data analysis tools to perform detailed schedule analysis. You will prepare and present schedule reports to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and maintaining transparency. As part of your leadership responsibilities, you will lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth. Additionally, as required, you will interact with key program stakeholders and customer Subject Matter Experts (SME) to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +6 yrs experience).
  • Typically 8+ years of related experience.
  • Recent experience in leading teams both formally and informally.
  • Experience with Schedule Management, Industrial Engineering, management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical roles in business, program, or operations management.
  • Ability to lead and conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA).
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting schedule reports to senior management.
  • Demonstrated use of Master/Subproject Integrated Master Schedules.
  • Experience collecting data from several sources, performing analysis, and communicating data.
  • Experience with advanced features in Excel (i.e., Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc.).
  • Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DCMA Scheduling best practices and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Industrial Engineering, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Certification: PMP or similar.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Project Web Access (PWA).
  • Experience with Earned Value (EV) program support.
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects and teams.

Compensation:
Pay Range:
$116,697.00 - $160,457.25
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
