The Black Hawk is designed to ensure reliability, low maintenance, high availability and enhanced survivability in the most austere and remote forward operating bases supporting our Army and International Foreign Military Operators(FMS)
THE WORK
Seeking an experienced professional to provide program management capture, planning and execution leadership as the Black Hawk Multiyear XI (MYXI) Program Manager. The Black Hawk MYXI PM will be responsible for the establishment of the overall MYXI program, contract and organizational structure ensuring that the future program is executable including early program start up activities. This program manager requires executive presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to build teams. The candidate must be able to excel in dynamic work environment and be able to contribute in many different aspects of the program.

We are driving mission-critical programs that deliver complex systems and capabilities in support of our customers and national security objectives. Our work requires strong program leadership, integrated planning, and close cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality program execution.
WHO YOU ARE
As a Program Manager, you will:
Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams committed to achieving program objectives and delivering results.
Participate in the negotiations with the Army customer to structure and ultimately award the next Black Hawk Future Production Contract MYXI.
Own the planning, baseline, direction, and monitoring of program activities, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality targets are met across the design, development, and integration phases.
Provide program management leadership for all contract start up activities to enable program "Start Green, Stay Green" including oversight and risk management for major supplier transitions from the prior contract.
Establish performance standards and track progress toward key milestones and deliverables.
Conduct timely and accurate milestone reviews and generate routine reports to identify risks, issues, and opportunities-developing and executing action plans as needed.
Oversee functional team execution for production to ensure alignment with program goals.
Proactively resolve problem areas by driving accountability and closing action items with detailed mitigation plans.
Lead or support escalations, providing clear communication of status and issues across technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
Ensure changes in scope, schedule, or budget are properly assessed and communicated, with associated risks identified and managed.
Keep stakeholders, project teams, and leadership informed through structured updates, status reports, and thorough documentation.

Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or relevant experience
8 years or more of experience in program management, finance, supply chain or equivalent

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $154,100 - $267,145. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
