Job Summary:
PitchBook, a Morningstar company, is dedicated to innovation and collaboration. They are seeking a Program Manager for their Commercial Business Operations team, responsible for driving the execution of initiatives and programs while ensuring alignment across the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Own end-to-end program management for Commercial initiatives and evergreen programs, including scoping, planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and reporting
• Build and maintain program dashboards and tracking systems, providing regular status updates to Commercial stakeholders
• Identify and proactively manage risks, blockers, and scope changes across programs
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and working sessions, driving clear actions and outcomes
• Serve as the Commercial workstream lead within company-wide programs and strategic initiatives
• Own the global Commercial knowledge infrastructure including the strategy and governance of the Commercial intranet site and resource centralization across teams and leadership levels
• Support the evaluation and adoption of tools, technologies, and practices that enhance program delivery
• Actively contribute to PitchBook’s program management community through workshops, training sessions, and mentorship programs
• Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
• Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of professional work experience, including 2+ years in program management
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to build and maintain program dashboards, tracking systems, and status reporting frameworks
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across teams
• Operate with a strong sense of urgency and deliver results
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear status updates, executive-ready documentation, and program materials for diverse audiences
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred:
• Experience owning knowledge management or resource centralization initiatives (intranet sites, decision logs, or similar)
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
