Raytheon is seeking an experienced professional with a successful background in Supply Chain to fill a critical Senior Manager Material Program Management (MPM) role to lead a team of MPM's. The Sr. Mgr. MPM serves as the leader for all program's supply chain activities and is the liaison between the Program Manager(s), Integrated Product Team (IPT) and other functional leads, and the Supply Chain organization. This position requires an individual who will be able to exert impact and influence the overall goals of the program and the program IPT team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams, balancing tactical work with managing projects, and capable of successfully interfacing with varying levels of management.
What You Will Do
  • Provide resources, training, and talent management to the team.
  • Owns the execution of material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP).
  • Drive impact and influence program planning, financial goals, building teams.
  • Review and approve gating activities, EACs, Risk Register, engineering boards, proposal strategies, supply base messaging.
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve supplier or material issues
  • Report status related to supplier and material needs to various leadership teams at varying levels: Tier 1-3.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as required.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Experience managing and/or leading a team
  • Supply Chain experience

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Supply chain experience in the Aerospace or Defense Industry, especially International
  • Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead teams
  • Customer proposal, negotiation experience, TINA compliance
  • Financial acumen, budget management, EAC experience
  • CORE, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies/principals

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
