Rotational Program Overview 

AEDP is a 3-year rotational program designed for entry level hires to explore up to three different design centers in their first three years with American Structurepoint.  

  • Develop Well-Rounded Engineers through rotations across our Road group and Indianapolis, Ohio, Florida/Texas 
  • Gain Exposure to Regional Projects and varying client needs 
  • Understand the Full Project Lifecycle from design to field implementation

Responsibilities

What you will do: 

  • Contribute to roadway designs, layout alignments, create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development. 
  • Creating construction plan sets in MicroStation ORD CAD Program 
  • Prepare design calculation documentation 
  • Develop construction cost estimates 
  • Different projects would include Roundabouts, Urban Roads, Rural Roads and Large Interstate Improvements 
  • Work is completed in the office with occasional site visits 
  • Other duties as assigned 
Qualifications

Who you are: 

  • Students majoring in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or other related programs with an emphasis on Civil Engineering 
  • Reliable transportation to and from office location 
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things 
  • Graduating in December 2025 or May/June 2026
