Purpose of Position
The Technical Programs Developer researches, develops and revises NetJets Aviation (NJA) approved inspection programs for all operated aircraft types and the General Maintenance Manual. The Technical Programs Developer writes and distributes the programs and manuals for internal and external use. The Technical Programs Developer evaluates OEM manual revisions for impact to the NetJets approved inspection programs or tracking of Airworthiness Limitation tasks and revises the manuals or directs changes to the maintenance tracking system as required. The Technical Programs Developer manages NetJets' content on Comply365 for internal and external use. The Technical Programs Developer coordinates with Technical Services, Base Planning, Line Planning, RTS, QC, and Technical Program Analyst on new maintenance tracking requirements and revisions to ensure regulatory compliance paired with an optimized plan. Tasks and Responsibilities
Researches, develops and revises NJA FAA-approved inspection programs and tracking of Airworthiness Limitation tasks through continuous collaboration with multiple sources and end users, including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), NJA Aircraft Maintenance personnel, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and maintenance providers.
Is responsible for the development of the NJA General Maintenance Manual. Works in conjunction with the FAA and NJA personnel and provides appropriate feedback.
Communicates and coordinates directly with the OEMs to improve OEM maintenance manuals and supporting technical data for aircraft maintenance functions.
Performs administrator management of OEM technical publication access, licensing, and invoicing.
Applies technology-based systems to manage workflow for program/manual development and distribution processes to internal and external users.
Establishes and improves department operating processes and supplements to ensure they are aligned to optimally support department functions and corporate goals.
Train, coach/mentor, develop and support newer Technical Program Developers.
