Job description

Responsibilities

  • Work on simple bug fixes and basic components of programs in the PAS, with guidance from senior Program Developers
  • Resolve inbound Operations requests across endorsements, build configuration, NAICS/SIC class mappings, and form attachments
  • Use GitHub, and Statsig to make and ship configuration changes to carrier programs, tenants, products, and coverages
  • Support senior teammates on active builds by owning discrete sub-tasks like class code mapping, form attachment conditions, and QA testing in staging

Experience

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in operations, insurance, technical project management, or configuration work - recent graduates encouraged to apply
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data (config files, rate tables, form lists, class codes)
  • Comfort with light coding or configuration work - you don't need to be a software engineer, but you should be unintimidated by making PRs in GitHub, and learning a configuration system
  • Willingness to start with simple bug fixes and basic program components, take feedback well in code review, and grow into more independent work over time
  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex domains quickly
  • Strong written communication
