Job Title - Associate - Retail Alternatives - Launch Program
Locations: Boston, MA | Braintree, MA - Hybrid

The SS&C Launch Program is designed to seamlessly transition recent college graduates into their professional careers. It provides entry-level hires with a cross-functional understanding of the organization and equips them with a strong skills foundation to succeed at SS&C. The Launch Program includes a 4-week all in-person immersive training period which will take place from August 3 - August 21, 2026 in Boston. Travel, housing, and daily stipend included for those not local to the training location. Upon completion of the Launch program and if in good standing, the final placement will be hybrid in the Boston office.
The program's goal is to expose high-potential graduates to multiple aspects of the financial services business segments, preparing them for future leadership roles within their respective functional areas. Upon completion, participants transition into full-time positions, with placement based on their performance in the program.
In addition to project-based assignments, participants rotate through key functional areas within their business segment, contributing to real business challenges. They also engage in professional development activities, providing ample networking opportunities and valuable exposure to company management.

What You Will Get To Do:
  • Program Overview:
    Gain valuable exposure to accounting, valuations, and investor services within SS&C's Hedge Fund Services and Private Markets groups. This program provides insights into middle-office services, transaction processing, applying accounting principles to complex transactions, financial reporting, pricing of complex securities, and more. Upon successful completion and good standing, candidates are placed in a department such as Alternative Assets, Real Assets, or Private Markets.

  • Develops and maintains exceptional client relationships.
  • Provides and oversees support and service activities for a designated client or group of clients, ensuring their operational needs and issues, both tactical and strategic, are managed to the highest level of satisfaction.
  • Ensures quality service and operational performance within the parameters of program and delivery standards.
  • Develops understanding of client business and product installations to identify service needs, plan service delivery and drive use of proactive service and support mechanisms to reduce client downtime and support costs.
  • Career level professional leading small, moderately complex projects or working on complex tasks that require a high degree of judgement, resourcefulness, and self-initiative.
  • Demonstrates specialized expertise to evaluate wide-ranging and complex issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Recommends new procedures.

What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • 0 - 2 years of relevant experience (recent graduate May 2025 to May 2026)
  • Strong client service skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and commitment to timely, accurate production of client deliverables
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong academic foundation in financial accounting

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
Massachusetts: The expected base salary for the position is between $70,000 USD to $75,000 USD.
