Registered nurse- (PRN)
  • Location: Danbury, CT 06810
  • Employment Type: PRN
  • Pay Rate: $35 - $40/hr; (Negotiable based on experience)  
  • Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

    Position Summary:

    The Registered Nurse (PRN) will provide professional nursing care during the night shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) on an as‑needed (PRN) basis. The nurse will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care in accordance with policy, procedure, professional practice standards, and regulatory requirements.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of patient’s physiologic, psychological and cognitive condition.
    • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on assessments, physician orders, and best practices.
    • Coordinate nursing care with physicians, other healthcare professionals, ancillary services, patient and family.
    • Provide safe administration of medications and treatments, monitoring for adverse effects or complications.
    • Monitor, record and report changes in patient condition, vital signs, lab data and response to interventions.
    • Evaluate patient outcomes, revise plan of care as needed, and document appropriately.
    • Ensure infection control, patient safety and adherence to institutional policies and regulatory standards.

      Required Qualifications:

      • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
      • Valid RN license in the state of Connecticut.
      • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
      • Current BLS/CPR certification.
      • Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
