Jobย Summary:ย The Program Coordinatorย plays aย key support role in the day-to-day operations ofย Abilisโ€™ย Glenville-based businesses, includingย Propertyย Maintenance,ย Cleaningย Crew, Riverside Commons,ย Environmental Enrichment, andย Abilsย Cafe.ย This positionย assistsย the Director of Businessย Operationsย in ensuring smooth, mission-drivenย operations by coordinating schedulesย and transportation, supportingย program staff,ย andย managing supplies.ย The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible,ย and passionate aboutย creatingย and sustainingย inclusive employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.ย 

Responsibilities:ย ย 

  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with program participants.ย 

  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and summon emergency personnel when needed.ย 

  • Maintain valid CPR and medication administration certifications; perform CPR and Heimlich maneuver when necessary.ย 

  • Safely supervise individuals andย assistย with adaptive equipment;ย lift upย to 40 lbs.ย 

  • Assistย with daily program operations, including scheduling and staff coordination.ย 

  • Coordinate transportation schedules and provide coverage during staff absences.ย 

  • Support individuals with disabilities by providing resources, guidance, and on-the-jobย assistance.ย 

  • Track time, attendance, andย maintainย accurateย payroll and program records.ย 

  • Facilitate communication between programs, team leads, and staff.ย 

  • Participate in team meetings,ย trainings, and planning sessions.ย 

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in business operations, retail, hospitality, or non-profit program coordination.ย 

  • Minimum of 2+ yearsโ€™ experience in administrative, operational, or support roles.ย 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic point-of-sale.ย 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to manage multiple priorities across programs.ย 

  • Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skillsโ€”particularly inย working with individuals with disabilities.ย 

  • Valid driverโ€™s license.ย
