Job description

Closing Assistant

Remote Position

(In-person training and occasional in-person meetings may be required)

At Closing Hub, we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Closing Assistant to support our Escrow Officers with critical file management and closing-related tasks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can independently manage responsibilities without constant oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Order and track mortgage payoffs
  • Obtain utility payoffs and HOA information
  • Review and process final liens, judgments, and bankruptcy-related documents
  • Verify financial figures and closing-related numbers for accuracy
  • Communicate with lenders, title companies, HOAs, utility providers, and other parties involved in transactions
  • Assist Escrow Officers with additional closing and file-related tasks as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and follow up persistently to ensure deadlines are met

  • Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone
  • Independent, self-motivated, and able to work without constant supervision

Preferred Experience

  • Title or escrow experience preferred, but not required
  • Real estate industry experience required
