As a Kitchen Operations Professional – Closing Shift, you play a critical role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring every order is prepared with accuracy, speed, and the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong commitment to food safety, operational excellence, and teamwork in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

You will be responsible for executing closing operations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and upholding the standards that make Chick-fil-A known for “Remark”able food and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a high-performing kitchen team focused on delivering consistent, high-quality food with urgency and attention to detail
  • Execute all closing procedures and complete required checklists accurately and thoroughly
  • Prepare, cook, and present food in accordance with Chick-fil-A quality and food safety standards
  • Maintain knowledge of all menu items, recipes, and procedures
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization across all kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and inventory rotation
  • Follow all federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations
  • Maintain a calm, positive, and professional demeanor during high-volume periods
  • Adhere to all Chick-fil-A Pathway training, food safety procedures, and operational standards
  • Follow all safety guidelines when operating and cleaning equipment

  • Must be available to work at least one Saturday per pay period
  • Must be available to work a minimum of four closing shifts per week
  • Reduced availability may result in a wage adjustment
  • No prior restaurant experience required—training provided
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and move efficiently between workstations
  • Must complete all required Pathway training courses
  • Must be willing to work both inside and outside the restaurant as needed
