Job description

Join a Growing Florida Title Team

This position requires direct Florida residential title insurance processing experience. This is not a mortgage loan processing position.

The Closing Agent has served Florida homebuyers, sellers, Realtors, lenders, builders and investors for more than 30 years.

Today, we're building on that experience as part of AgentHome and the Westcor family of companies—combining the relationships and local market knowledge of The Closing Agent with expanded technology, operational resources, training and career opportunities.

We're looking for an experienced Florida title professional to join our Ocoee Market Team.

If you know how to move a Florida residential transaction from contract through closing, understand title commitments and requirements, and enjoy working directly with Realtors and customers, we'd like to talk with you.

The Position

This is a hands-on title processing and closing position within a collaborative market team.

We're not looking for someone to simply move files through an assembly line. We're looking for a title professional who understands the transaction, anticipates what needs to happen next and takes ownership of delivering a smooth closing experience.

What You'll Do

  • Process Florida residential purchase, refinance and cash transactions
  • Review title commitments and identify and clear title requirements
  • Coordinate lien searches, estoppels, payoffs, surveys and other transaction requirements
  • Work directly with Realtors, lenders, attorneys, buyers and sellers
  • Identify title or closing issues and escalate matters appropriately when necessary
  • Prepare files and documentation for closing
  • Conduct in-person and remote closings
  • Review closing documents with buyers and sellers
  • Coordinate outstanding items necessary to keep transactions on schedule
  • Assist with post-closing matters when needed
  • Provide responsive, professional customer service throughout the transaction

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Minimum 3 years of direct title insurance processing and/or closing experience
  • Experience with Florida residential real estate transactions
  • Experience reviewing title commitments and clearing title requirements
  • Working knowledge of the documents, parties and deadlines involved in a residential real estate closing
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active transactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer-service orientation
  • Ability to work independently, identify problems and take ownership of solutions

Preferred

  • Florida Licensed Title Agent
  • Experience independently processing residential files from opening through closing
  • Experience conducting buyer and seller closings
  • Experience with RamQuest, Qualia, SoftPro or similar title production software
  • Experience working directly with Realtors and referral partners

Our Ocoee Market Team is supported by a centralized Florida operations platform that includes:

  • Escrow Accounting
  • Wire Room Operations
  • Compliance and Regulatory Support
  • Post-Closing Services
  • Technology and Systems Support
  • Customer Service and Order Entry Support

That means our processors and closers can spend more of their time doing what experienced title professionals do best: managing transactions, solving problems, serving customers and getting deals closed.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $52,000–$65,000 annually, based on title experience, licensing and demonstrated ability.

We recognize that experienced Florida title professionals bring specialized knowledge that takes years to develop. Compensation within the range will reflect the candidate's ability to independently manage residential title transactions and closings. Benefits include health insurance, dental, vision, 401(k)/match, PTO, paid holidays, title-agent licensing/CE support, bonus opportunities, etc.

Why The Closing Agent?

You'll be joining an established Central Florida title company with more than three decades of market experience and relationships, backed by the resources of a growing national organization.

We offer:

  • An established Central Florida reputation
  • Experienced leadership
  • Long-standing Realtor and referral relationships
  • Modern title technology and centralized operational support
  • Training and professional development
  • Opportunities for advancement
  • A collaborative market-team environment
  • The resources and career opportunities of AgentHome and Westcor

An Opportunity to Grow

The Ocoee office is an important part of our Central Florida growth strategy. For the right title professional, this can be more than another processing position. As our Florida operation continues to grow, potential career paths may include Senior Processor/Closer, Market Leadership, Branch Management, Training and Operational Leadership.

If you're an experienced Florida title professional who takes pride in your work, enjoys helping people through the closing process and wants to be part of a company investing in growth, we'd like to meet you.
