Purpose
This role manages various production activities like assembly, material forming or shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc. to ensure production excellence and to meet established specifications, schedules, volume, cost, wastage targets, quality standards and service-level agreements.
Key Missions
  • Ensures completion of all work within service-level agreements
  • Operates and maintains production equipment through identifying and performing first line diagnostics and complying with operating procedures
  • Contributes actively to the business performance of production
  • Highlights any opportunities for improvement and participates in process improvement teams
  • Supports to production integrated into the flow (quality control, controls and preparation of raw materials, supply management, etc.) or to machine operation, etc.
  • Applies security, quality and environmental standards, alerts in the event of an anomaly, etc.
  • Faces problems that are typical of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures
  • Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation
  • Works under moderate supervision
