Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and experienced Mobile Dog Groomer to bring top-quality grooming services directly to our clients' doorsteps in a fully equipped grooming van. You will be responsible for creating a stress-free, 5-star grooming experience for pets while delivering exceptional, professional service to pet owners.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Mobile Operations: Safely drive and operate a fully equipped grooming van to scheduled appointments. Perform daily safety/maintenance checks on the vehicle and equipment.
  • Grooming Services: Perform bathing, brushing, de-shedding, styling, and breed-specific haircuts.
  • Spa Treatments: Safely clip or file nails, clean ears, and brush teeth as requested.
  • Pet Care & Safety: Ensure the comfort and safety of animals of all sizes and temperaments using gentle, fear-free handling techniques.
  • Client Relations: Deliver outstanding customer service, consult with pet parents about their styling preferences, and educate them on coat care.
  • Van Maintenance: Maintain a meticulously clean, sanitized workspace inside the mobile unit at all times.
  • Admin & Payments: Manage your daily route efficiently and process client payments using mobile scheduling/point-of-sale software.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on professional dog grooming experience.
  • Driving Record: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be comfortable maneuvering and parking a large mobile grooming van.
  • Animal Handling: Calm, patient, and authoritative demeanor to soothe anxious or difficult pets.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift/maneuver dogs of all sizes up to 50 lbs unassisted.
