Description

Job Summary:

The Production Coordinator is responsible for preparing production job packets and supporting ERP data entry and job maintenance activities. This role coordinates and prints the documentation required for shop floor job packets, assists with ERP job setup, and helps maintain accurate job records within the ERP system.

The Production Coordinator works closely with planning, engineering, programming, and production to support the preparation and release of jobs so they can move efficiently through fabrication and assembly in alignment with production schedules established by the planning team.

This is a full-time, hourly position. Typical working hours will be Monday - Friday with hours ranging from 7:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. based on the candidates preferred working hours. ?Overtime may be available. ?


Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Preparation & Documentation

  • Prepare and organize job packets including drawings, BOMs, travelers, programs, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with production planners to ensure timely release of job packets to the shop floor in alignment with production schedules
  • Review documentation for completeness and verify revision alignment prior to job release.
  • Coordinate with engineering and programming to help confirm the appropriate BOM revisions and drawings are attached to production jobs.

Job Maintenance & Data Entry

  • Issue material to jobs within the ERP system as required to support production execution.
  • Verify required materials are properly linked to jobs and escalate discrepancies when identified.
  • Assist with resolving material or job structure issues that may impact production readiness.
  • Maintain job records within Epicor ERP, including:
  • Job documentation attachments
  • Routing and method verification
  • Job status updates
  • Assist with data entry and job maintenance activities to ensure accurate system data supporting production.

Other duties assigned by leadership or management groups.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing coordination, production administration, or administrative work
  • Experience with Epicor is preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish daily tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
