POSITION SUMMARY
The Product Management Intern will participate in a structured program designed to develop high-potential candidates into Associate Product Manager-ready contributors. This role provides hands-on exposure to the product lifecycle, market analysis, commercialization, and sales growth activities. The Summer program will focus on three pillars (1) product marketing ownership & clinical credibility, (2) insight to decision product thinking, and (3) commercialization & education initiatives. The position is located at the Medacta USA headquarters in Franklin, TN.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements:
Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business/Marketing, Engineering, or Biologic Science Related Discipline.
At least 50% degree completion is required (if undergraduate).
A minimum GPA of 3.0 Cumulative is strongly preferred.
Experience Requirements:
Any existing short-term professional and/or educational experience is required.

Travel requirements: Travel of up to 15% may be required, domestically.
Extent of Confidential Information: Ability to maintain tact, poise, and discretion in handling confidential matters
Reporting: Daily reports to direct supervisor and members of the product management team.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
  • Product Management - at the discretion of the supervisor, support:
    • Marketing strategies and product launches consistent with Medacta's global strategy.
    • Market research, including industry trends and competitor dynamics.
    • Product education and training aid development to assist the salesforce.
    • Surgical labs and educational programs.
    • Field visits for agent training and surgeon site visits.
    • Congresses and scientific symposia events in a support capacity.
    • Various projects among the product teams.
    • Physician interaction and user needs collection to improve marketing initiatives, collateral, and other concepts
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
