Procurement Analyst
Duration: 6 Months+
Location: Jersey City, NJ
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • The Procurement Analyst position plays a critical role in supporting the procurement operations function working closely with our 3rd party vendor and our Source to Pay Platform.
  • This includes program tracking and reporting. In addition to these core responsibilities, the Procurement Analyst will develop and create engaging PowerPoint slide decks for Procurement presentations to senior leadership.
  • We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset, who is eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact in our organization.
  • This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to the success of our procurement team and drive continuous improvement across the function while advancing your professional development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Support the procurement team with spend analytics and identification of cost savings and process improvement opportunities
  • Develop, track, and report procurement KPIs to measure the performance of the procurement organization and vendors
  • Prepare and maintain vendor scorecards to ensure supplier performance meets organizational expectations and contractual obligations
  • Collaborate with procurement team members and internal stakeholders to support the RFx process, vendor selection, and contract negotiations
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify industry trends and best practices to drive value and operational efficiencies
  • Support procurement team members in managing vendor relationships to ensure value delivery
  • Manage small and medium-sized projects, as assigned, driving process improvements and efficiencies
  • Analyze and optimize the procurement process to drive cost savings and identify process improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of supplier diversity initiatives and programs, including the identification of diverse vendors
