Job description

Who You Are: (Job Summary)

The Director of Procurement Systems and Analytics is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the vision, governance, and continuous improvement of procurement technology and data capabilities. This leader will oversee enterprise procurement systems, procurement analytics strategy, and data governance to enable scalable, compliant, and data-driven decision-making across Procurement tools.

This role acts as a key liaison between Procurement, Accounting, IT, and internal stakeholders, proactively driving technology solutions while delivering actionable insights that optimize performance, mitigate risk, and support enterprise transformation initiatives.


What You Will Do: (Job Responsibilities)

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, aligning procurement systems and analytics strategy with enterprise priorities and transformation initiatives.
  • Define and execute the roadmap for procurement systems, reporting capabilities, and analytics maturity.
  • Drive innovation in procurement technology to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
  • Oversee configuration, enhancement, and optimization of procurement and financial systems.
  • Partner with IT to translate business requirements into system solutions.
  • Ensure system integrity, performance, and governance across procurement platforms.
  • Establish and govern procurement analytics strategy, including KPI frameworks, dashboards, and executive reporting.
  • Deliver actionable insights to drive cost savings, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making across procurement and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead enterprise data governance practices for procurement.
  • Implement controls, standards, and processes to maintain high data integrity and compliance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve master data management practices.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives related to procurement systems, analytics, and transformation.
  • Drive adoption of new tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Develop and oversee training programs and documentation for end users.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Set performance expectations and support career development.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need to Be Successful: (Required Qualifications, Education, Experience, Certifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., PMP, CIPS) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (10 years) in procurement, project management, or a related field with a focus on risk management and compliance.
  • At least five years of experience in people, project, or program management.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, risk management principles, and audit practices.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence, and collaborate across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA, Master of Supply Chain.
  • Experience working for or supporting a data center provider (multi-tenant data center, hyperscale user, or equipment provider).
  • A track record in Workday and/or Oracle systems implementations, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Procurement certification (e.g. ISM CPSM).

  • Ability to work independently, influence all organizational levels, proactive problem-solving skills, and a high level of accountability.
