Job Description

Procurement and Contracting Services is looking for a Senior Procurement Analyst (Project Manager IV).

The Senior Procurement Analyst reports to the Director of Major Procurement Support (MPS) within the Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) Division. Performs advanced (senior-level) project management, business analysis, and procurement development work initiating and conducting multi-agency or enterprise-level procurement projects within the agency.

This role serves as a senior procurement analyst to the MPS Director, MPS staff, and agency stakeholders. Work involves eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business, functional, and technical requirements; evaluating business processes and solution needs; and coordinating with program, information technology, legal, finance, and executive stakeholders to support the acquisition of complex systems and services. Provides technical consultation to ensure procurement solutions align with agency objectives, operational needs, regulatory requirements, and implementation considerations. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Essential Job Functions

Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
