If you're ready to apply your classroom knowledge to hands-on manufacturing challenges, Arclin's Process Engineer Internship is your opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Arclin, Inc. is currently looking for a Process Engineer Internship for our Hayward, WI location. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will be assigned a project to support improvement of an existing plant challenge and will also assist process and plant engineers with daily duties in order to gain valuable insight into on-the-job responsibilities. This position will work closely with operations, engineering, automation, and safety functions, and will be expected to adhere to site safety requirements and quality control standards.
Process Engineer Internship Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and operators to document "Best practices" and validate procedural accuracy.
  • Support Lean Six Sigma initiatives by gathering process data, conducting time studies, and drafting final improvement reports.
  • Participate in Pre-Start Up Safety Reviews to update safety documentation
  • Integrate photographs, flow charts and line drawings into technical guides to clarify safety-critical steps for production staff.
Mechanical Engineer Internship Job Qualifications:
  • Working to complete Bachelors' degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Driven & Eager to learn
  • MS Office Skills
