Sedaro is hiring a Project Manager to help achieve our mission of building infinitely scalable system simulation software in the cloud.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing government contracts and working directly with US government and commercial customers. This role is critical in ensuring the successful management of government contracts and supporting the Company's strategic goals. The PM should have a thoughtful approach to decision-making; knowing when to move fast and when to be thorough.

This position requires individuals to be self-sufficient and able to direct team members to accomplish goals. The PM should be able to give and receive constructive feedback and have a strong ability to meet tight deadlines. They are motivated to own a project from start to finish, and can understand the big picture and how it fits within all aspects of the business.

This person is familiar with many industry tools including the MS Office Suite, and other project management software. this SkillBridge opportunity is located located at our corporate headquarters in Arlington, VA. Company Website: Sedaro | Connected System Simulation for Digital Twins Relevant Abilities: Extremely organized - you will need to plan and schedule multiple milestones, deliverables, and meetings on a regular basis Strong communication skills - you will be working with external customers and the internal software development teams and need to be able to effectively communication customer needs to the team Effective written skills - many of the project deliverables will be Powerpoint presentations and Word document reports (e.g., status reports, preliminary technical reports, and final reports) Process-oriented with the mindset to continuously improve how to meet customer needs What you will accomplish: Develop Powerpoint slide decks, written reports, and work with technical leadership to schedule project sprints relevant to the customer tasking Provide input on proposals, white papers, and other non-project related deliverables Schedule major milestones and track progress and deliverables to ensure contract requirements are being met Work with engineers to ensure they understand technical requirements for each milestone deliverable Own a project from start to finish Understand customer needs and communicate these needs to the team to implement in an agile software development methodology Qualifications: 2+ years of experience managing government contracts Experience leading client meetings, scheduling milestone events, tracking deadlines and invoice dates Experience working with a team of software developers Experience developing reports, slide decks, and schedules Experience with MS Office Suite, GitLab, or other program management and scheduling software Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or other relevant degree Additional Desirable Experience Experience managing Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs Experience managing Research & Development (R&D) efforts with Department of Defense (DoD) stakeholders Understanding of agile software development processes PMP Certification or similar Master's degree (or progress towards) in engineering, business, or other relevant degree Experience managing budgets and invoicing deliverables
