Job description

Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detailoriented Pricing Administrator to support our company's pricing and margin strategies within the HVAC supply industry. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate supplier costs, executing customer pricing, and providing insights that support profitability and competitive positioning.

You'll work closely with Specialist, Sales, Business Units, and senior leadership to assist local branches, analyze market data, and maintain pricing structures that align with company goals.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

1. Competitive & Market Analysis

  • Compile and analyze competitor pricing and market intelligence.
  • Build and maintain pricing comparison tools and dashboards for internal review.
  • Identify and escalate outlying competitor pricing to Pricing Manager and Business Unit Manager for review and action.

2. Customer Pricing Support

  • Assist in evaluating customer accounts for appropriate pricing levels and strategies.
  • Assist in implementing and reviewing branch and sales team requests for customer discounts.
  • Maintain HVAC contractor/vendor rebate quote files and manage accrued competitive rebate data.
  • Support branches and sales reps with Approvals for manual price changes
  • Respond to internal pricing inquiries with accuracy and urgency

3. Processing & Evaluation

  • Manage price lists, customerspecific pricing, and promotional pricing
  • Ensure timely updates to ERP systems and internal databases
  • Assist with rebate tracking, vendor cost files, and pricing audits
  • Generate pricing reports and support management with datadriven insights

Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
