The Customer Pricing Manager leads the execution, governance, and performance of pricing across assigned accounts. This role manages Commercial and Strategic Pricing Analysts and ensures pricing strategies align with customer-specific objectives, including revenue growth, margin optimization, and risk management. The role provides leadership on pricing decisions, supports complex scenarios, and ensures consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all pricing activities. It serves as a key partner to Sales, Contracts, Finance, and Operations to drive commercially sound, customer-aligned outcomes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of Commercial and Strategic Pricing Analysts supporting customer accounts
  • Oversee pricing execution and analysis for all customer pricing activities
  • Ensure customer pricing strategies align with revenue, margin, and contractual commitments
  • Provide direction and oversight on complex, high-value, or high-risk customer pricing decisions and escalations
  • Review and approve non-standard customer pricing requests, deviations, and exception scenarios
  • Partner with Sales, Contracts, Finance, and Operations leadership to align pricing decisions with customer agreements and commercial strategy
  • Ensure compliance with customer contracts, pricing policies, and governance frameworks
  • Drive consistency in pricing approaches across customer accounts while maintaining flexibility for bespoke scenarios where required
  • Monitor customer pricing performance, margin trends, and risk exposure across accounts
  • Support customer audits, pricing disputes, and contract compliance reviews
  • Establish priorities and allocate team resources based on customer needs, deal complexity, and business impact
  • Mentor and develop team members, including coaching on customer strategy, agreement interpretation, and stakeholder management
  • Identify and drive improvements in customer pricing processes, execution, and governance
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or related field preferred
  • Progressive experience in customer pricing, contract pricing, or commercial strategy
  • Prior leadership or people management experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of customer agreements, pricing structures, and commercial risk
  • Proven ability to manage complex and non-standard customer pricing scenarios
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and support commercial decision-making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of business judgment and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
