This position is responsible for supporting the Pricing Manager and Pricing Analysts in ensuring the accuracy of pricing and profitability to all corporate and franchised stores. In addition, this position will also have the responsibility to support the pricing team in the review and analysis of all pricing and profitability reports, and suggesting process improvement opportunities.

What you'll do as a Pricing Analyst: 

  • Ensure 100% correct pricing for all stores.
  • Verify and correct, if necessary, pricing on purchase order, sales order and credit orders. Improve Processes related to this as needed.
  • Assist Pricing team in the review and analysis of financial and profitability reports.
  • Conduct weekly pricing audits and maintenance of the JD Edwards Advanced Pricing System.
  • Process purchase order confirmations, accounts payable, and product price variance reconciliation.
  • Investigate with vendor, AP, Customer, Co-op or any other business partner when billing or pricing errors arise and resolve them.
  • Process daily data transmission documents from the Customer. Be able to work with multiple customers with very different processes for this purpose. 
  • Make judgment call on what amount and when to accrue Product Price Variances.
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date SOPs and suggesting improvements to management. 
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Pricing Analyst: 

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Business field desired.
  • Be detail-oriented, self motivated and organized.
  • Have sound judgment and follow through since actions could have significant financial impact. 
  • Have excellent process improvement skills.
  • Have good communication, time management and inter-personal skills.
  • Be an independent thinker and find sound resolutions to daily issues that arise.
  • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
