Dunn Solutions is growing our predictive analytics practice. Come join our experienced business intelligence and analytics team as we leverage the power of data and predictive modeling to change the way our clients run their businesses.ย  This multi-dimensional role will report directly to our Predictive Analytics Practice Leader and will work with both our internal team and clients in a variety of verticals including retail, healthcare, and finance.
This is a full time position with benefits located right outside of Chicago in our Skokie, IL headquarters.

Responsibilities
Strong generic understanding of functionality and/or willingness and ability to acquire deep SAP/KXEN knowledge
ย ย ย  Ability to demonstration the value of the solution (not just demonstrate the functionality), and the ability to build a strong working relationship with client and Dunn team.
ย ย ย  Builds and maintains models, including extracting and combining data from multiple sources using languages such as SQL, R, KXEN, SAP Predictive Analytics and SAS.
ย ย ย  Possess teamwork, high integrity, self-starter, can-do attitude, problem solver
ย ย ย  Development of new or revised statistical systems, and problem solving or investigation related to modeling.ย  Such as, the development of advanced recommendation engine for use and sale to external ecommerce websites.
ย ย ย  Facilitate and manage major internal initiatives and external client needs that use advanced mathematical and structured algorithms
ย ย ย  Develop prototypes in client IT environment
Desired Skills and Experience
Advanced Analytics; needs experience actually building and deploying predictive models. Additionally, the candidate needs to have a fundamental statistics knowledge to be able to answer questions about underlying algorithms and processes. Preferred skills:ย  Statistical emphasis on data mining techniques, Bayesian Networks Inference, CHAID, CART, Association Rule, Linear and non-linear regression, hierarchical mixed models/ multi-level modeling
ย ย ย  1+ years of work experience in predictive projects
ย ย ย  Consulting experience would be preferred
ย ย ย  Experience with and comfort in discussing the role of analytics in customer lifecycle analytics
ย ย ย  Intermediate to advanced programming skills enabling the individual to extract and manipulate data (R, Python, SAS, SQL, KXEN, and SAP Predictive Analytics).
ย ย ย  Knowledge of data integration processes
ย ย ย  Knowledge of data mining
ย ย ย  Some experience performing data mining or statistical analysis in Retail, Insurance or Financial Services preferred
ย ย ย  Fluent English is compulsory, additional languages are a plus.
ย ย ย  Ability to travel 30%
