POSITION TITLE: Manager Quality Assurance, Software Testing (M2)

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager Quality Assurance leads the software testing and quality engineering function for enterprise applications and technology solutions. This role is responsible for developing testing strategies, managing QA teams, implementing test automation, and ensuring software releases meet quality, performance, security, and business requirements. The QA Manager partners with business, development, and operations teams to drive continuous improvement and deliver reliable, high-quality software.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Lead and manage software testing activities across the application lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain QA standards, testing methodologies, and governance processes.
  • Oversee functional, integration, regression, performance, API, and user acceptance testing.
  • Drive test automation strategy and increase automated test coverage.
  • Manage defect tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution processes.
  • Ensure quality controls are integrated into Agile and DevOps delivery practices.
  • Assess release readiness and provide quality recommendations for production deployments.
  • Develop and report on quality metrics, testing effectiveness, and release performance.
  • Partner with business, product, and development teams to ensure requirements are testable and meet quality expectations.
  • Manage QA vendors and outsourced testing resources.
  • Mentor and develop QA analysts and test engineers.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and delivery

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education/Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Certifications in Quality Assurance preferred

Experience/Minimum Requirements
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or quality engineering within enterprise application environments
  • Three (3)+ years of experience leading QA teams, enterprise testing programs, or test automation initiatives
  • Experience implementing automated testing frameworks and quality engineering practices
  • Experience managing offshore and geographically distributed QA teams, including resource planning, work coordination, performance management, and delivery oversight across multiple time zones

Expectations
  • Strong knowledge of software testing principles, quality assurance methodologies, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Expertise in functional, integration, regression, performance, API, and user acceptance testing practices.
  • Experience developing and executing enterprise test strategies, test plans, and quality governance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and scale automated testing solutions using industry-standard test automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and quality engineering best practices.
  • Knowledge of application architecture, system integrations, cloud technologies, and enterprise software platforms.
  • Experience with defect management, root cause analysis, risk assessment, and release readiness evaluations.
  • Ability to establish and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify quality risks and recommend practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing, mentoring, and developing QA professionals and testing teams.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong vendor management and stakeholder relationship skills, including oversight of outsourced testing resources.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of software security testing, compliance requirements, and risk management practices preferred.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality technology solutions that meet business objectives, customer expectations, and operational requirements.

Working Conditions: To optimize collaboration, relationship building, and key stakeholder engagement, this role aligns to a 4:1 hybrid model which is in office Monday-Thursday with the option for remote work on Fridays. This role may require up to 10% travel.

Compensation
The salary range offered for this position is $118100 - $162400 annually. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
