As a Network Solutions Architect this individual will be responsible for demonstrating technical and design expertise based on past/present experience in deployment, administration, configuration, and integration. The ideal candidate will combine sales and technical skills to address client needs, drive business outcomes and partner with internal teams to help build customer relationships. The Architect will work directly with practice leadership and will be engaged in all aspects of pre-sales/delivery business cycles. Provide strategic vision while leading service delivery.

Role Summary

  • Responsible for driving pre-sales activities and the ability to drive business opportunities from opportunity identification, scoping process, and booking.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects while designing, communicating, and advising company solutions.
  • Communicate clearly, and concisely the capabilities of network offerings, advisory services, and delivery capabilities.
  • Develop high-level technical solutions and ability to present to customers (Hardware, Software, Licensing, Professional Services).
  • Work with Account Executives and extended Sales Teams to develop customer relationships and solutions and assist in the overall sales process.
  • Collect business and technical requirements, complete end-to-end, full lifecycle network designs.
  • Quickly grasp new technologies and develop solutions integrating new technologies with existing network tools and services. Responsible for technology evaluation and testing.
  • Develop go-to-market strategy, operationalize plans, collect learnings, and establish the foundation for new ideas to scale. A track record of developing services.
  • Professionally craft and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and drive whiteboard conversations.
  • Cross collaboration and solution design with adjacent practices (Security, Data Center, Cloud).
  • Lead a growing team by inspiring with a diverse set of skills and backgrounds.
  • Generate hardware configurations (BoM).
  • Ability to self-pace and self-set direction in a team environment to drive business.
  • Maintain and develop technical and technology specific skill sets and certification.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with clients in a pre-sale capacity providing guidance around networking solutions and company offerings.
  • Experience and background managing proposal processes including SOW creation.
  • Expertise and experience delivering enterprise class network solutions.
  • Ability to act as a Technical SME Lead and provide mentorship to team members.
  • Ability to research and provide updates on current technology solutions and products.
  • Background in complex routing and switching solutions to include (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
  • Experience with Firewalls and VPNs to include (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc.).
  • Familiarity with load balancing and acceleration solutions (Cisco, F5, Netscaler).
  • Background and/or familiarity with SDN solutions.
  • Experience in SDWAN solutions to include (Cisco Viptela, CloudGenix, etc.).

Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in technical discipline is preferred.
  • One or more of the following certifications: CCNA/CCDA/CCNP and other non-Cisco certifications is preferred.
