A Pre Production Manager oversees the planning and coordination of all activities that need to happen before the actual production begins in industries like film, television, or manufacturing. Their responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, managing teams, and ensuring all necessary materials and information are prepared for a smooth production process. They work closely with directors, designers, engineers, or other stakeholders to identify and solve potential issues before production starts. This role is crucial for minimizing delays, reducing costs, and ensuring the project is set up for success.
