We are currently seeking a Manager of Direct Mail Production
General Summary:
The Direct Mail Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production of direct mail campaigns. This includes customer service, project management, scheduling, vendor management and negotiations, as well as the procurement and coordination of various print formats such as digital print, commercial cut sheet, web/inline printing, personalization, lettershop services, retail collateral, premiums, inventory management, and postage reconciliation.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Oversee all aspects of direct mail campaigns; day-to-day vendor relations and coordination, including estimating, sourcing programs, cost/profit review, coordination of all scheduled deliverables with vendors and monitoring inventory levels as needed.
2. Ensure all deliverables meet company and client quality standards and comply with United States Postal Service (USPS) regulations.
3. Manage direct mail programs by adhering to project schedules, auditing data processing steps performed at the vendor level, follow project data process/workflow specifications, QC vendor production and materials.
4. Ensure the printer properly maintains all production equipment to prevent any disruptions.
5. Request postage funding, reconcile postage usage and reporting on campaigns
6. Monitor inventory levels and initiate recorders as needed to avoid shortages or overages.
7. Track the status of direct mail campaigns and provide timely activity reports.
8. Keep the client status document current and attend weekly status calls per the client requirements.
9. Provide accounting staff with information as needed to support client invoices, vendor invoice review, postage refunds and tasks needed to expediate the client billing process
10.Participate and assist as needed on RFP's, production audits for new business and project reporting as needed by mgmt.

3. In-depth knowledge of USPS regulations and compliance requirements.
4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education, Experience, and Certification:
1. Associate degree or equivalent required.*
2. 5+ years' experience in direct mail production is required.*
