Job Description:
This position is for a Rental/Service Manager. Responsibilities include insuring scheduled maintenance, along with evaluation and repair of small engines, outdoor power equipment and rental equipment. Assisting customers in a polite and friendly manner.
Preparing rental forms from a POS and explaining and scheduling rental equipment and rental fees to the customer. Demonstrating operation and safety features to the customer on all equipment rented, communicate the status of repairs to employees and store managers to ensure great customer service.
This person will operate out of our Bluffton Rentco located in Bluffton IN.
In addition to supporting customer needs, they are responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance and cleanliness of the equipment and rental shop. All invoicing, rentals, maintenance scheduling in POS/computer based so computer skills are necessary.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide rental rates and quotes.
  • Check rentals in and out each day and maintain contract files and rental reservations.
  • Write rental contracts on a PC program.
  • Schedule pick-up and/or delivery of rental equipment and load/unload equipment.

Qualifications:
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including Saturdays.
  • Superior organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn computer-based concepts quickly.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks at one time.
  • Good driving record, some delivery and pick-ups
  • Engage in discussions with customers related to the proper equipment based on customers' needs.
  • Knowledge of, or be able to learn about all rental equipment, including operation, application, capabilities, and limitations.
  • Knowledge of routine maintenance and troubleshooting requirements of all rental equipment.
  • Aptitude/general knowledge of small engines.
  • Ability to perform light tune-ups, oil changes, and small parts replacement on rental equipment.

Compensation: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
