Assistant Vice President - Trading & Portfolio Management
A global investment management firm with strong ties to both U.S. and international markets is seeking a proactive and motivated Assistant Vice President to support trading, portfolio management, and fund analysis activities. This role provides hands-on experience in managing and executing investment strategies across multiple funds, including leveraged index and Latin American advised funds.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support portfolio management and trading operations under the direction of senior managers.
  • Analyze cash flows, implement model portfolio updates, and execute trades.
  • Monitor advisor model portfolios, analyze performance, and prepare client reports.
  • Communicate regularly with advisors and clients regarding fund performance and activities.
  • Conduct fund due diligence and research new investment products.
  • Review daily trade confirmations and assist with ad-hoc projects.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in trading or fund operations preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills; VBA knowledge a plus.
  • Series 3 license and/or CFA preferred.
  • Business or native-level proficiency in English and Japanese is strongly preferred.
  • Self-motivated professional with excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
