With over 9,000 acres in California’s Central Valley, POM Wonderful is committed to unleashing the antioxidant power of our handpicked pomegranates. 

The Production Supervisor of the Beverage business, which includes Extraction, Filling, and Plastics, assists with planning and implementing labor for the assigned production of goods or products that are available for the plant to perform the workflow process. This supervisor will support the Production Manager/Director of Beverage in planning and forecasting changes for assigned areas and coordinate production when appropriate and provide other support to production and management as required. This position will work year-round to ensure that juicing and bottling production is optimized and production is maintained with high quality standards. The Production Supervisor is a team player who can work during a variety of shifts and who can communicate effectively with cross functional teams.  The Production Supervisor also needs to be Safety and Quality minded.

Compensation- $72,000.00 - $100,000.00 Salary - which may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.

Job Description

What our Production Supervisor - Beverage will do:

  • Supervises plant personnel and ensures a safe working environment.
  • Monitors equipment and production schedule to exceed efficiencies, reduce waste and maintain production standards quality.
  • Responsible for tracking and improving downtime and cleanup/changeover processes.
  • Inputs, analyzes and communicates quality control data.
  • Observes and enforces safety, GMPs, and Food safety programs and attends appropriate training sessions.
  • Ensure reporting and communication is frequent and accurate as required
  • Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to a logistics activity.
  • Develop an understanding of customers' needs and take actions to ensure that such needs are met.
  • Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse work group.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience required.
  • Beverage or similar industry experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Business Administration or related discipline required.
  • Good communication skills required; bilingual skills (Spanish/English) helpful.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work all shifts as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 3 years of supervising experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. 3-5 years of management/supervisory experience required. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, related field, or equivalent job experience.
