We’re looking for an experienced Belt Grinder Operator to perform precision finishing, deburring, and polishing on aerospace components. This hands-on role is key to ensuring every part meets strict quality and surface finish standards. If you take pride in craftsmanship and have experience with high-spec metals like titanium or Inconel — we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual belt grinding and polishing machines to deburr, blend, and finish metal parts.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and aerospace specifications.
  • Select proper abrasive belts and tools based on material type and surface finish.
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and surface roughness testers.
  • Maintain traceability and documentation according to aerospace standards.
  • Keep work area organized and follow all safety and FOD prevention procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in belt grinding, finishing, or polishing precision metal parts.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
  • Experience working to tight tolerances and high surface finish requirements (Ra/RMS).
  • Familiarity with AS9100 or aerospace production environments preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality.
