Job Description
Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for a Temporary Machine Operator, located in Fremont, CA. Reporting to the Director, Program Management, the Machine Operator will perform general labor including but not limited to functions of DI wash, saw, deburring, polishing/buffing. Day Shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned
  • Perform basic set-ups and operate machines in more than one assigned area
  • Operate complex equipment and machines in a safe manner
  • Fit, align and adjust machines or assemblies to meet tolerances and product operating requirements
  • Work from schedules, shop orders, established procedures, blueprints, and specifications
    Identify deviations that can potentially interrupt productivity
  • Load and unload various types of cleaning equipment, miscellaneous assembly, inspecting, alcohol wiping, swabbing, nitrogen dry parts, leak check, LPC testing, bag and tag
  • Operate air and electric drivers, ultra sonic wash
  • Proper use of required PPE. This includes coveralls, boots, hairnets/headcovers/face shields, gloves, etc.
  • May work in a cleanroom environment all or part of the shift
  • Maintain logs and other necessary documents
  • Work with direct supervision

For candidates in CA, the pay range for this position is $19.33 to $32.84 per hour.

  • 1-2 years manufacturing or related work experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practices
  • Ability to operate a variety of machines
  • Basic understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements and MRP concepts
  • Visual acuity and manual dexterity
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
