Granite City Processing, formerly Heidtman Steel, is growing and adding a 3rd shift Pickle Line to our team in Granite City, Illinois.

Prior pickle line, slitter, forklift experience, overhead crane operation, and material handler experience are a plus!



Competitive Pay & Bonuses

  • Starting wage: $20.51/hr + (higher starting wage depending on position)
  • Production Incentive Bonus: 2025 average was 15.13% (approximately $3.10/hr extra)
  • Shift Premiums: 2nd shift: +$1.50/hr, 3rd shift: +$1.00/hr

Wage: $20.51/hour plus shift differential and monthly incentive.

Requirements

You should be computer literate in order to maintain associated production documents. Experience driving a forklift, overhead crane, material handler, and steel handler experience is desired. This is a physically demanding job which requires standing, bending, twisting, stooping and the ability to move up to 50 lbs.

Prior experience in machine operation and/or steel manufacturing experience is preferred for Pickle Line and Slitter Opportunities; prior experience operating a pickle line and steel slitter machines is a bonus.
