Job DescriptionBenefits & Compensation Overview:
Training Rate: $24.26/hr (training could take up to 1 year)
Once certified on 100% CIP's Hourly Rate: $27.35/hr

Work Schedule:
Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays
First Shift (4AM - 2:30PM)
Ability to work all shifts as required by training needs
Ability to work daily overtime as needed
Plant Overview:
Over 300 employees
Holland Plant has been around since 1897
Products produced: Sweet relish, Grey Poupon mustard, yellow mustard, vinegar, pickle variations, BBQ sauce
Union Facility - Retail, Wholesale, and Department Store Union (RWDSU)
Job Overview:
Clean and Sanitize production lines and peripheral areas throughout the facility. This position uses various chemicals used to properly clean and sanitize the lines.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Assure that we are always working to meet or exceed our quality standards. This includes but is not limited to the following tasks:
Following GMP requirements
Inspecting raw materials and finished goods
Completing quality documentation
Assisting in rework as assigned
Escalating quality defects and concerns to leads/supervisors
Responsible for the operation of sanitation workers in the facility include but is not limited to the following tasks:
Remove trash cans, totes and other containers from the line. Following PPE requirements
Turn equipment on and drain / empty fillers and conveyors of excess or unprocessed product residue
Pre-rinse equipment to remove food residue and soils
Apply chemicals as instructed for various lines and products
Allow chemicals to soak or CIP for the required amount of time
Rinse chemicals to remove all remaining food residue, soils and chemicals residue
Wash and/or sweep the remaining product residue from the floor
Operate a forklift to perform sanitation duties such as removing trash
Perform all duties within compliance of GMP and Safety protocols
Perform any other duties as instructed by Lead Person and/or Supervisor such as Master Sanitation
Perform any other duty as required by supervisor or lead person
Escalating safety defects and concerns to leads/supervisors
Support Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS) at the operator level. This includes, but is not limited to, participation in the following processes:
Shift Hand Offs Meetings
Level 1 Meetings
Performance Boards
Centerline Management (CLM)
Clean to Inspect and Reapply Lubrication (CIL)
5S
Defect Handling
Start Up/Shut Down
Changeovers
Daily Problem Handling
Work with support departments to improve line performance
Keep work area clean and orderly
Perform any other duty as assigned by supervisor or lead person
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 - 100 pounds, requesting assistance as necessary.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.The employee will be exposed during his/her job to high noise levels, chemicals, exposure to strong odors, fumes or airborne particles, constant stair climbing, and slippery floors.
Personal Protective Equipment:The employee is regularly required to wear company authorized safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, rubber boots, chemical protection and other personal protective equipment to successfully perform the functions of this job safely.
Qualifications:
Upon hire will train to become Lock Out Tag Out certified and maintain qualification
Must successfully pass on the job training and maintain operator qualification
Must be able to operate a forklift
Must be able to handle potentially hazardous chemicals in a safe manner
GED or greater required
Requires ability to read, write and communicate in English or Spanish
