Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for operating multiple pieces of computer-controlled equipment and machinery, ensuring production and quality goals are met. Coordinates activities on the production line consisting of 5 or more employees. Responsible for operating machinery such as: Steinemann, Panfaux, Automaton, Sheer, Collator, Tape Layer, Sakurai, and Laminators (Burkle).
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Follow all machine and process procedures on an automation line, and understand the technology
  • Responsible for maintaining production metrics while maintaining the required Quality standards
  • Managing the machine operations team, choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
  • Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications. Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
  • Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
  • Communicate written and verbal skills are a necessity to program the machine based on the model or blueprint.
  • Follow all OSHA safety protocols. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.

  • Basic math skills
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance and comply with all safety, company policies, and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and stick to deadlines.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.​
