Is PMO better than project manager?

A PMO (Project Management Office) is a department that standardizes project management practices across an organization, while a project manager is responsible for planning and executing individual projects. The PMO provides governance, tools, and support, whereas the project manager focuses on delivering specific project outcomes. Both roles are essential but serve different functions within project management frameworks like PMI or Agile environments.

To thrive as a PMO Project Coordinator, you need strong organizational skills, project management knowledge, and a degree in business or a related field.
