Position: ERP Program Manager

Work Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 10+ Months

Client: Direct Client



Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for the development of short and long-term strategies that will serve as roadmaps for the planning, evaluation and the purchase of the state's ERP solution. The candidate will be tasked with creating a high-level purchase strategy, the ERP evaluation and scoring protocols based on industry best practices, and also assist in the establishment of the ERP Program Office. The selected candidate must possess proven ERP consultation experience, guiding enterprise clients toward the purchase of ERP solutions that meet needs across large, complex organizations. The candidate must be able to quickly ascertain the client's needs based on system requirements, then develop detailed strategies clearly outlining the required steps, and project timelines necessary to achieve the desired outcome. The candidate will also be responsible for the creation of large, complex reports for state legislative offices/personnel, adhering to strict timelines for completion.

Candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Working closely with the project Steering Committee to ensure all needs are met
  • Provide direction leading to successful ERP plan development and implementation
  • Lead project to write ERP RFP
  • Creating project short and long-term strategies
  • Creating purchase strategies, including module prioritization, based on industry best practices
  • Developing project roadmaps for the planning, evaluation and purchase of the ERP solution
  • Facilitating workgroups to examine agency business processes
  • Establishing ERP evaluation and scoring protocols
  • Assisting to establish ERP Program Office
  • Provide leadership to State.


Required Skills:

  • Proven ERP experience guiding enterprise clients through the evaluation and the successful purchase of ERP solutions
  • Experience implementing two separate ERP implementations, each of which exceed $10 million
  • Experience in writing ERP related RFP and managing selection process
  • Experience leading the creation of short and long-term roadmaps that outline all key phases for the purchase of ERP solutions
  • Experience leading meetings and presentations for C level executive or legislative offices
  • Experience building enterprise level, collaborative Program Offices focused on creation of robust and repeatable ERP plans


Desired Skills

  • Preference for state government experience in an ERP environment
