Using data, advanced analytics, specialized software, and pharmacy automation, Mosaic is transforming the pharmacy experience for medically complex seniors while also helping payers achieve their quality improvement and cost savings objectives.
How You'll Make a Difference
Reporting to the Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will play a pivotal role in furthering the team's mission to give every new Mosaic patient a smooth, confident start with our pharmacy.
In this role, you will help Mosaic convert new referrals into fully onboarded, medication-ready patients quickly and accurately, reducing delays and errors at the point of intake.
Your work directly supports the medically complex seniors Mosaic serves. As often the first voice a patient hears from Mosaic, you help them feel informed, cared for, and ready to begin their new pharmacy service with confidence.
What You'll Do
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for new patients via phone or video, guiding them through onboarding.
  • Conducts comprehensive medication history interviews and reconciles prescriptions with new patients.
  • Collaborates with prescribers to obtain new prescriptions.
  • Addresses patient inquiries regarding insurance, costs, and coverage.
  • Supports claims processing and resolves third-party billing issues.
  • Enters prescription details accurately into the pharmacy system to ensure precise, timely medication fulfillment.
  • Documents patient information thoroughly and accurately in the pharmacy management system.
  • Educates patients on Mosaic's pharmacy services and benefits.
  • Synchronizes medication regimens and schedules each patient's initial medication shipment.
  • Contacts previous pharmacies to coordinate prescription transfers.

What We're Looking For
Required
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting with direct patient interaction (home health, hospital, primary or specialty care, or pharmacy).
  • Licensed pharmacy technician in good standing in the State of Virginia.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including empathetic listening and clear verbal and written expression.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy software and general computer applications.
  • Available to work an 8.5-hour shift, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. ET (exact shift confirmed at hire); occasional overtime may be required based on patient needs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company-sponsored visa sponsorship.

Preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a call center environment.
  • Experience collecting medication histories.

All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $26/hr to $28/hr. Actual compensation within the range is determined by factors including experience, skills, and internal equity.
